Teaching the Power of Social Media

LOGAN, UT-Every Second Tuesday of the month you can find the Social Media Club of Cache Valley meeting in various locations and times around the valley educating anyone who wants to learn about social media for free.
The club promotes a non-threatening environment for discussion about social media to a range of people who are beginners to experts, and how to use it in business, day-to-day activities, or increasing one’s intrapersonal communication skills.
President of Social Media Club of Cache Valley, Preston Parker said, “I have been compared to Steve Jobs because of my ability to foresee what the general public will utilize from a technological standpoint,” and from when he started the Cache Valley Chapter in 2008, social media has passed television, newspaper, and radio for most viewership per day.
As locations and times do vary you will find the club every third month having “Tweetups” in CafĂ© Sabor where participants may dine and discuss. The clubs other meeting locations and times can be found either by checking there Facebook page at www.facebook.com/smccv or the club’s blog at www.smccv.blogspot.com . You may also reach the club by calling 661-772-7537.
The global organization started in 2005 out of San Francisco other chapters started up and in August 2008 Parker was elected at Cache Valley’s chapter’s president.

  1. Very nice press release, I think you did a good job. I noticed that you spelled out Social Media Club of Cache Valley in the second paragraph instead of using its acronym. Well done overall though.
